The other thing I do in WaveLab a lot is all my final audio processing at 96k as well as the main project layout/markers/data etc. In particular, a report for side B that starts at 0:00 like the WAV file does instead of the report for side B referring to the total project time. It can also reference the track number and embed the track number/track total in the ID3 metadata.Īnother thing WaveLab can do that I use regularly include making vinyl pre-masters with one file per-side and also a PDF report for all the track start times that corresponds with the WAV files. However, until I can input things like the artist name, album title, track titles, ISRC codes just one time, and have that info pushed to both CD-Text and ID3 metadata in both rendered WAV and mp3 files, REAPER is a non-starter for me for final mastering assembly. Reaper needs a little longer training, but is then actually faster in everyday life.īut if you don't work with reaper anyway, it's probably better to go with hofaI love REAPER for many things including the main audio processing when I am using my analog chain.
